There is a lot of competition in our house. Competition for affection, attention, tv remotes, the last corn cake, etc. However, this evening we had a competion for God's attention. My middle son has taken a great interest in grace before dinner. The hubby is typically the one who says grace, but our middle man has been putting his two cents in lately. Tonight he added an extra special twist on grace....confession.
Middle son: ( before my hubby could start) God, thank you for ghost pirates..
Hubby: Dear Lord, thank you for this food before us, the roof over our heads, and this beautiful....
Middle son: And God I am sorry that I sat on my brother's head. AMEN!
That's how we roll in this house.
