This past Sunday we were sitting in service waiting for our turn to go up for communion. We have been working with the boys on what communion is and means and how to take communion. So, Daniel is being his normal adorable, active, challenging :) self and he is walking in front of us in our aisle and is putting his hand on each of our hands and walking back and forth and doing this over and over. I was not paying attention to it for the first couple of hundred times until Stephen (the son-not the husband) leans over and says, "He is giving us bread". And then it clicked! He was giving us each communion. People.... that was a good momma moment, let me tell you! The kid is actually paying attention! And the best part was when we went to go up to communion he was scrambling over Sam to get his piece and actually made our priest laugh at how excited he was to get communion. In all honesty, I think he was just hungry, but he was excited in church and that is a good thing!
