A Fourth of July weekend and all that we gained

Yeah, okay so I am a bit slow on the updating on the fourth, but here it is. We spent the weekend with my aunt and uncle in Maryland and we "gained" some new things! Take a look!

A loss in appetite for Stephen if setting fireworks is happening after dinner. That boy would not eat, he was so excited to set off the fireworks. Poor boy has been deprived by his parents of the pyrotechnical thrill of blowing up stuff in your backyard. Luckily, I have firefighters in my family who can expose him safely!

A new appreciation for those things that stay the same and make me smile every time I see them!

The chance to show my younger cousin who is REALLY the bowling master!

Love of the good ol' french fry toy, which we have now slept with every single night. Move over teddy bear!

The ability to sit with my kids and watch something that I can never get enough of
